Thank God you’re over, Christmas.
Ironic no?
No. I don’t mean the Christian Christmas, the secular one. The one with the Grinch and Santa, with presents and trees, with red and green. Yes you. Commercial Christmas. The presents were fun, Family and friends were fun, drinking was fun.
But the distinct lack of a festive mood during a festive period was particularly depressing. I’m sorry to say this but, “Christmas, this year, you sucked.” Oh please, don’t you go there! Do not blame this on the crunch and America, on the stalling of the Flyer or the threat of local IRs going bust. No, you were just lazy this year and shame on you.
Better buck up next year.
